Description
A common sight are clouds hugging the tops of the West Maui Mountains. In Hawaiian these mountains are called Mauna Kahālāwai, which can mean "House of Water, the Meeting Place of Waters, or the place where heaven and earth meet." These mountains are actually an eroded 13,000 foot high volcano that last erupted 320,000 years ago.
